I am currently finished a book i was reading called Girl's Best friend. This book was by a familiar Arther to me who i love her work her name is Leslie Margolis. One thing i noticed about this book was that the main character Maggie always leaves a note after every dog she walked to the owner about what happened and names it "Doggie Deets From The Desk of Maggie Brooklyn" for example one of the Doggie Deets was to Cassie the owner of one of the three dogs she walks, she wrote "No need to get Bean's purple dress dry-cleaned she didn't actually wear it." The genre of this book was realistic-fiction and and the main idea of this book was implied and is about a young girl named Maggie who starts to walk dogs and finds out dogs are starting to go missing which means their is a dog thief on the loose and is going to find him/her. If I had to rename this book i would name it Stolen Dogs because it is about dogs being stolen. One Text feature is all the notes anther is the bold words and last is all the small dialogues. Anther quote in this book that really stuck out to me was actually a note to Ivy about her dog Kermit that said "Want to see Kermit again? Bring $100 in an unmarked envelope to the dog beach. Tape it to the nearest park bench and walk away. Make sure you come alone." that note stuck out to me because the last sentence " Make sure to come alone" she could get kidnapped alone clearly she should not go alone to the dog beach out of common sense.
